Discipleship Classes
Sunday Mornings - 9:15-10:15am
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19–20)
Discipleship Classes meet on Sunday mornings from 9:15am to 10:15am. The goal of our Discipleship Classes is to make disciples by teaching our members to observe everything that Christ has commanded. We want to faithfully interpret and apply God’s Word to every aspect of our lives. Therefore, Discipleship Classes are purposely designed to give a comprehensive understanding of God’s Word that can be applied in every part of daily living.

Children and Students may attend age specific Discipleship Classes led by qualified adults. We use curriculum from Great Commission Publications, Crossway, and Lifeway to guide us through the Scriptures. We have a team of enthusiastic teachers who faithfully and prayerfully teach God’s Word to their classes on a weekly basis, modeling a Christ-centered example of faith and godliness for the next generation. Our teachers also undergo background checks and take our child safety training.

Adult Discipleship Classes
Our adult discipleship classes help our participants grow in knowledge of the truth and in application of grace. We offer different classes each quarter covering a range of topics—books of the Bible, systematic theology, church history, and practical Christian living. Our adult discipleship classes are open to everyone. Participants may choose one of our classes each quarter. We currently offer three class tracks:

Meeting in Room 2103. Led by Dan Webb and Mark Bearden
Must we keep the law to be saved, or has grace freed us from any requirement of the law on our lives? The Whole Christ, by Sinclair Ferguson, looks to a 300-year-old controversy to shed valuable light on the law, grace, the gospel, and sanctification. The goal of this class is to let a “whole” view of Jesus dictate how we understand and apply both grace and the law in our lives as Christians.

Meeting in the Music Suite, Room 2106. Led by Nathan Young and Rick Palmer
God doesn't demand hectic church programs and frenetic schedules; he only wants his people to know him more intimately. The apostle Paul found that spiritual closeness in his own fellowship with the Father. By following Paul's example, we can do the same. This book, by D.A. Carson calls believers to reject superficiality and revolutionize their lives by embracing a God-guided approach to prayer.
Joshua
Meeting in Room 2101. Led by Tom Goodrich and Benjamin Curlee
At God’s command and under Joshua’s leadership, the nation of Israel invaded the land of Canaan - the land God had promised his people. Thus, the book of Joshua records a key period in God’s plan to redeem his people from slavery in Egypt. In this 12-week study, pastor Trent Hunter connects the story of Joshua to God’s larger promises, offering readers rich insights into the book’s overarching story of salvation and the ultimate rest offered to all who trust in Christ for salvation, helping them apply its message to their lives today.
