Who is God calling to carry out his mission in the world?
Us. All of us! God is on a mission to reconcile lost, sinful human beings to himself. He is drawing people of every tribe and tongue to himself. He is spreading his kingdom into the hearts and lives of any that would turn to him in faith.
And he has called us to participate in his mission in the world! Not just pastors, elders, missionaries, and evangelists, but every Christian has a role to play sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who need to hear. This year at Crabapple, we are focusing on a simple theme: iM3. It stands for this:
I have a MESSAGE.
I have a MISSION.
I have a MANDATE.
Our message is the gospel. Our mission is to go and tell. Our mandate is God's commissioning of all his people to take part.
