Welcome to Crabapple

We live in a time when people describe their lives as lacking any kind of center. Employers move us here and there. Extended families are scattered all around. Even our neighbors are often strangers to us. We long for authentic community and deep, purposeful investment in the lives of others. We long for a place to call home.

At Crabapple, we believe that Jesus Christ is the center of all things. The Bible teaches us that He is the Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of all. We are a community of His followers, committed to growing in our faith and to helping families discover the true joy that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. We are a family of brothers and sisters, bonded together through the Gospel. We invite you to come and discover Crabapple for yourself. We invite you to come home.

God desires above all else that He be exalted for His glory. For Christians, this happens when we treasure God more than anything else in this life. Ephesians 1:11-12 tells believers, "In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory." At Crabapple, we are spending this year focused on the theme "Life for the Praise of His Glory." As believers we should truly desire to take every thought, word, and deed captive to the glory of God. There is no greater thing for which to live.

ber Memory Verses:

For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:6

Every year, Crabapple participates in the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for world missions. This offering goes to support over 5,500 Southern Baptist missionaries across the globe. Every penny given to Lottie Moon is directly used to support Southern Baptist missionaries as they share the Gospel overseas. The national goal for the offering is $170 million. Our goal at Crabapple is $50,000. Click here to find out more about the offering. How much will your family give?

Christmas is a joyful time at Crabapple as we celebrate the incarnation of the Son of God. There are three special services for you and your family to be part of the celebration. On Sunday, December 7 at 6:30 pm, our children's choir will present a Christmas musical. On Sunday, December 14 at 6:30 pm, our adult choir will present "Immanuel, The King's King". On Christmas Eve at 5:00 pm, we will have a special communion service. Come and adore Him with us.

Do you wonder about who Jesus really was? Are you curious about the Bible and about Christianity? Beginning Tuesday, January 11 and lasting ten consecutive Tuesdays (through March 17), come and be part of our Christianity Explored group. Whether you're a new Christian, a non-Christian, or a skeptic, we invite you to bring your thoughts and questions and join a lively discussion at Jittery Joe's in Crabapple. The group will meet at 7:00 pm and will take a look at the Gospel of Mark. Click here for directions to Jittery Joe's.
