Welcome!
Dear Parents,

Welcome to the Awana Club program at Crabapple First Baptist Church. We are so excited to have you and your child participate in this dynamic ministry!

Awana Clubs have been around for over 50 years. The Awana name was taken from the Bible, and stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed." The Awana program uses a non-denominational curriculum to teach children biblical principles and their need for salvation through Jesus Christ. We feel at CFBC that this time-honored program offers the greatest opportunity for children to form an understanding of the Bible and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Thank you for allowing us to minister to you and your child and for investing in your child's eternal future.

These web pages provides basic information on the Awana program at CFBC. If you have questions or need more information, please do not hesitate to contact me or any of the Awana leaders. The Awana staff is composed of volunteers from the CFBC fellowship who care greatly about the spiritual and social development of children. Each child is very special to God and to us!

Parents, your participation and assistance are very important. Please encourage your child to attend each meeting, help them to memorize Scripture, and show excitement over their achievements. If your child has special needs, please communicate with us. One of our goals is to partner with parents to make a positive and eternal impact in the life of your child.

Again thank you for entrusting us with your child and we look forward to getting to know you this year. May God richly bless you and your family!
