Participation Costs

Participation costs include the Awana uniform. The vest (Cubbies and Sparks) and shirt (T&T) is a vital part of the club program. It provides a palate on which to display achievement awards and patches, and is a visual identification of belonging to the group. Most uniforms can be worn for 2-3 years before being outgrown.

Uniforms are purchased after the child has completed the introductory memorization exercises in the Entrance Booklet. This generally requires 3-4 weeks of preparation and club participation. When your child has achieved the Entrance Booklet completion, the Awana Secretary will provide you with a note containing the details of the purchase. The uniform is then awarded to the child during the general assembly, and becomes an encouragement for continued progress.

Future achievement awards are pinned to the uniform as the child progresses. The child should wear the complete uniform at each club meeting. No awards can be given until the member has a uniform on which to display them.
