Crabapple First Baptist Church Preschool Seeks Director
Mission Statement: To glorify Jesus Christ by extending the missional arm of Crabapple First Baptist Church in the Milton, Alpharetta, Roswell and surrounding communities for the purpose of providing parents of preschoolers with high quality cognitive and spiritual preparatory education in a safe, warm and nurturing environment.
Position Description: We are seeking an experienced ministry-minded Director for our preschool. The CFBC Weekday Preschool has an excellent track record of teaching children and helping families for over a decade. This position would report to the CFBC Family Ministry Pastor and be part of the staff at CFBC.
Responsibilities:
- Directing a staff of 8-10 teachers, administrative support personnel including selection, on-going staff training and development.
- Responsible for all aspects of the weekday pre-school operation such as, but not limited to, enrollment, facility, safety, instruction, discipline, budgeting, promotion and parental engagement.
- Accountable for the implementation, delivery and positive results of high quality instruction to 100-150 students.
- Active participant in CFBC staff meetings, working to integrate and implement CFBC vision and goals in and through the weekday pre-school ministry as a member of the CFBC staff team.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Classroom teaching experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven staff/supervisory / managerial ability
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate possess a four year degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent training and experience.
- Has experience with the selection, integration and implementation of curriculum across multiple grade and age levels.
- A person with classroom and supervisory experience exceeding five years in total.
- Passionate about ministering to the pre-school student and developing partnerships with parents to raise up godly children.
